2013 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo Cards

thumb_2013_bingoAs a child, my sister and I would watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade while my father slept in and my mother prepared the Thanksgiving feast. When I became a mother, I found it difficult to engage my children in the tradition as today’s kids have so many more options. Then I stumbled upon some Bingo cards for the parade. I printed them out but because didn’t read, it was hard for them. Plus some of the items on the card were dated and we never saw on the parade telecast. So I started making my own with photos based on that year’s lineups.

Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo Cards – 2012

I grew up watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade while mother worked in the kitchen and my dad slept. I found my kids were less interested in the parade. Then I found a website with Bingo cards for the parade, which I thought would make it more fun for them – http://familyfun.go.com/assets/cms/pdf/playtime/1107_BINGO_parade.pdf .

However, we’ve found that several items on the card (like a kids singing group, a kid on a dad’s shoulders, someone eating, etc.) simply weren’t shown on TV at least not every year. So this year I have made mine own cards specifically for this year’s parade from the announced line up of balloons, performers, and floats. This year, I was able to find photos so it would be easier for non-reading children to participate – enjoy Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Bingo Cards – 2012!
