Summer is closer than it seems and soon will start the endless complaints of “I’m Bored!” once the lure of video games has worn off.

I saw this Bored Board on Pinterest and it immediately spoke to me about a way to organize and direct my children to discover the value of downtime. I figure if they do each item for about an hour a day, add in their video games, eating, chores, etc. they will have had a variety of experiences throughout the day.

I am going to do a series of posts on each one with ideas and links to things for each category because I know they will not be able to think of specific things for each item until they are much more practiced.
